Thanks for your question. Look at Taiwan, it is a country but most nations do wish to recognize its sovereignty. "...although informal relations are maintained with nearly all others. Just because a country is not "recognized" does not mean it is fake. Look at how the world recognizes Palestine but refuses to acknowledge Israel. I would not add an actual fake country but if you take the time to read the history of how it came into existence, you will see by international law they are legit.

- Bon die Mithridates, Lanceperry2018, you are free to create articles about micro-nations and "states" whose sovereignty is not recognized, but you should not confuse them by mixing them into templates or lists with "real" countries and nations. It should then be classified and linked to a particular category, distinct from that of states recognized by the United Nations.
